After Locking Van, Hazards Come On For Roughly 4 Mins.....

So T6 with day van conversion, lock van with key fob, after about 20 secs hazards come on for roughly 4 mins....in at vw, they thought it was rear barn door lock / latch.... replaced and still does same.
..... any ideas....I have a feeling my van will be a shell by time it comes back.....

It could do with being scanned for last alarm activation..

Sounds alarm related.

Did the dash show any doors or boot open?

VCDS can be used to pull the previous alarm activations as @Loz said.

Possibly a dodgy door status switch.

Hi Gents
Thanks for the reply's, The dealer phoned yesterday and they have ordered an alarm module for it....should be fitted today, lets hope thats it!
They had previously replaced the door switch (rear barn doors).
Will be in touch and thanks again, i have VCDS however with it still being warranty covered, fired it to them....
