Hello all, need some help! I want to add an extra 12v socket in my van to my Sargeant EC160 PSU, but I’m not sure which terminals to wire too. Im currently running a twin USB socket & heater from the unit with the normal lights, water pump & fridge.
Cheers

be cautious with "the heater" . . . . what one is it? how much power/current does it draw?

That EC160 can only run small devices as per above:

5A pump,
10A lights/aux
10A Aux
5A perm
15A fridge

all the above fed from 2x15A (30A) feeds

Hi @Dellmassive and thanks!

Our van is a professional conversion but I forgot to spec the extra 12v socket, which I wanted to position nearer to my 12v TV when I’m off grid. I thought I could use one of the 12v sockets in the cab for short periods, but I don’t want to risk flattening my van battery?

Currently my fridge is wired to the perm 12v out terminal (as it has an on/off switch on the front) and the fridge out terminal is free. Can I use this for the extra 12v socket and change the fuse to a 10A??

Cheers
