Review: AbsoluT5 Audio

We have every fast food chain a few mins away, but town centre is what they will all look, like soon… many do pop to Salisbury, but even that’s getting a bit empty

Thanks to @Absolut5 Jason for sorting my system out.. I've been testing it all out today after it being fitted on Friday.

The install was completed in approximately 7 hours while I waited (tip for those that do the same, don't bother going to the nearby town, it's shocking)

Hertz Millie pro in doors, 10” sub in twin seat enclosure, Audison SR5.600 amp with bass control, replacement leisure battery and ctek split charger all under drivers seat.

Now i can finally turn it up!
Cheers mate, good chat as well

loved those plugs, if you can grab us a couple sets il pay for them…. Enjoy

I don't think I've got any more of the connector you fitted but here is the information below, if you're serious let me know if you need further help!

Box mount connector (2 pin plug, size 14) - 62GB-12E14-02PN (the image below shows a skt)
Cable mount connector: (2 pin skt, size 14) - 62GB-56T14-02SN (without cable clamp backshell, see note 1) (the image below shows a plug)

Notes:
1. There are lots of options for the cable clamp backshell - I can advise if you're struggling.
2. There are other part numbers for the connectors above (including ones that come with cable clamp backshells), I have only given you the 62GB variants. e.g. look at 'MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1'.

thanks for the great info

Huge shout out to Jason and the team @Absolut5 for the work they recently completed on my Kombi.

From sound deadening through to heater and solar install the work is flawless, it really has exceeded my expectations. Jason rolled with my late additions to the list of work to do and really went above and beyond to get everything completed.

And the Signature audio set-up is just incredible. The sub is outstanding and even at volume its such a clean system with definition throughout sub/mid/top. It's like having a mini sound system in the van!!!

Thanks to this forum as well for all the feedback making my decision to go with Absolut5 easy!

Cheers Dave, it was a pleasure to work on your van… sounds great for such a basic setup..

A 6 hour round trip to Absolut5 yesterday for an audio upgrade.

Top quality install and such a huge difference to the OEM setup.

Kenwood 8020 dabs
Door sound deadening
Door speakers, new tweeters, amp, sub, rear speakers.
I have never seen a negative review for @Absolut5

Thanks Absolut5 for installing my Kenwood 8019 and wiring in my MFSW. The Apple Play is great for the sat nav (so much better than VW) and it is nice to have the wheel straight now you have fitted it properly :) . Excellent work at a very reasonable cost. I only had to travel 1 hour but the service is well worth making any journey with food and Costa outlets a short walk away while you are waiting. Highly recommended and will be back to have a decent rear camera fitted .

Hi Jason @Absolut5

I can’t seem to attach photos of the interior of our van to our conversation, so have added them to this thread.

Hope they are enough to give you an idea of whether it is possible for you to add rear speakers.

Thanks.

Andy
