Hiya,

Just looking for options on a split charge system on a 6.1. seeing as my first idea keeps throwing up a million errors all of a sudden.

Would this work?

Or would this be the better choice?

DCC30S 12V 30A DUAL INPUT DC-DC ON-BOARD BATTERY CHARGER WITH MPPT

Or feel free to suggest something else if i am a mile off. Also if im going to do all this, is there anything else i may as well add at the same time. I am creating a day van with lights a few usb sockets and a flip down tv for the kids. Nothing else.

I know theres a few wiring diagrams on here so if youve got one for what i need that would also be helpful :)

Cheers again for all advice.

I, and lots of people on here, have the DCC50S (big brother to the DCC30S) and it's been great for me. It does have a limitation on the solar panel which makes the max panel size around 200W.

Can't comment on the Ring product, maybe someone else will.

more info:

as above look at the 50A renogy with the BT2 adapter, then set the limit to 20 or 30A as you need.
