So finally getting round to working on the van again, this time I’ve had the rear window tinted and the tailgate spoiler is at paint and should be going on next week.
Have also ordered 4 windows, mega van mats stretch lining and some curtains for me to fit when I get time.

So made a start today. 4 window holes cut ready for the next stage of interior carpeting before finally bonding on the windows.

Bought an air nibbler from Toolstation for £25 and it was the best thing I’ve ever used for cutting windows. On my last van I used a jigsaw and angle grinder followed up with some sanding wheels for the burrs. This little tool has made really clean cuts and almost zero burrs on the edges. However it does make a lot of mess with the little bits it nibbles out as it cuts. But that said I would rather spend an hour sweeping up than worrying about hot sparks and my lacquer.

What tool was it fella? I'm about to do my windows and for £25 seems ideal?

Linings all finished and the curtains are in and the floors back down. Only need to put my rear rock n roll bed back in and then sort out what units I’m going to do. Also need to get a full length tailgate cover trim at the bottom so I can cut the lino in and finish it off.

Suppose I best take her for a drive as well, make sure my windows don’t fall out! And then give her a wash to check for window leaks....

The bloody list just goes on and on....

Decided to put the rock n roll bed back in so the kids can come out in the van. It looks lost in there with no units though.

Now we just have the argument of who sits by the new window :)

So finally got the tailgate spoiler fitted. I’ve only had it since September!
After not finding what I wanted at busfest last year I came home and ordered one from travininlite and as usual the quality was spot on.
I’ve also just fitted a pair of their extra door seals and after being a bit sceptical at first about the results, after fitting them I can understand what all the fuss is about. Well worth the money.

Today I got my folding seat hinge fitted with the extra 10 degrees angle to make it more comfortable for the wife. Hinge was from eBay and was very well made for the £115.
After a quick road test with the wife it gets the thumbs up.
