3m lengths of stuff inside?

Yep. Carry copper tube for plumbing in my short wheel base kombi. Just take the plastic panel off the driver seat base then it goes under the seat . You just need to make something to stop it going into your feet . I did the same on my traffic but the Ford custom has the slide through passenger seat Vwbreezepoole are very slow on this one the same with the caddy and the fold down passenger seat like the Ford . I can get 10 lengths of 15 mm and 22 plus a few waste pipes. I even managed to fix my folding roof rack from my custom on the roof yet another let down from VW .

Can you elaborate on the folding roof rack please?

In my old swb I had a timber bulkhead with a small flap/fold down section on the pass side.
I would angle it from the driver's side rear and through above the passenger seat.

Now with a lwb I just use a small pipe carrier on the roof that's also adapted as an awning rail.

I fitted the folding rack that is made by Ford for the custom. I had to get adaptor blocks made but they work really well as I only use them a few times a year. They come as a set of three but two is fine for carrying ladders. The blocks are fixed using the VW holes in the roof then have threaded holes in the top to match the Ford fixings. They are great on the motorway without any wind noise and keeping the MPG up.
