30 - 40L Compressor Coolbox Recommendations

I like the look of this one - it has split compartments which is ideal for separating raw food. I think around 30L would be ideal but lots of the models mentioned are sold out.

I know some people may laugh at this, but the Bluetooth feature on the T36 was actually quite handy. It allowed me to check whether the fridge was running while driving. With the NL40, I’ve forgotten to switch it on once or twice (or sixteen times), because it doesn’t automatically power on when you plug in the 12V socket - you have to press the on button.

Is this the same when on mains hook up?
If so it could be a pain if the power goes off when on site if you don't realise its been off .

I would assume so - for the box it´s like the cable has been unplugged.
Never thought about the powercut..

I guess if you have a leisure battery with a mains charger on board, the battery would keep the power constant and elec hookup would keep the battery charged

I understood that main hook up means it is plugged in via 3-pin to mains - like in the awning.

Yes - but if the fridge is running off the 12v leisure battery then the supply wouldnt be interrupted if the 240v mains went off.

I was just exploring possibilities to avoid the fridge going off if the mains power was interrupted.
