My first fill of derv. If the display is correct I am well chuffed and it can only improve with running in.
37 MPG.
The most I ever got out of my Vito sport 150 bhp auto was 33mpg

I have the old euro5 140 and mine reads over by 3 mpg . This is over 9000 mile now . I get 37 mpg out of mine but this is still better than my ford custom by 4 mpg . The ford computer was spot on over the 30000 I did in it .
Yours is still good for a 204 bhp

I am getting a towbar fitted next week so will give mine a go at towing are caravan this summer . We normally tow with the wife's 4x4 but if the t6 Kombi works out ok for us we are thinking of getting a smaller car .I use it for work seats out and full of tools so not sure if I will get feed up keep taking the tools out .

New smaller car now my daily commute as sold our Yeti, spot on so far quiet, nippy, 60mpg, loads of room inside for a small car and 4x4

What's you're mfd fuel consumption2 reading? Ignore 1.

Yep, agreed. Ignore the mpg 1, and use a calculator and brim it. The second mpg on the display is more accurate but you need to do a few thousand miles before I'd take any notice of what the readings are telling you.......it's a VW after all!

I reset mpg2 after every tank. It's always reads 2 mpg to high from my actual calculations so in that sense it's accurate after I minus 2.

I've not touched mine since the start. I think it resets every 5k, but I do find it pretty damn close to my calculations.

Totally agree, have done four brimfulls recently, resetting MFD 2 on each tank full and reports 2mpg higher than actual. Not reset for the last 1000 miles and now reading 37.8, so in reality 35.8 for an unladen 140ps limbo.

Just filled up today, been running on Vpower for 4 consecutive tanks now, last tank delivered 35.4mpg trip 2 showed 35.8mpg, not a bad guess
Thats a record for my van :D
204ps weighing 2600kg minimum all the time now.

Trip 1 only shows the calculated for your current journey, it is applicable and doesn't need to be ignored, but unless you drive non stop from full to empty it will never be close to what trip 2 shows, which will actually be closer to what your achieving, but nothing compensates for calculating it correctly (3 decimal places for me ;) 4.546)

Glad I read this, (Same van, similar weight, and exactly same fuel) I wasn't sure if mine was good or bad, because comparing to my previous 2015 Vivaro Bi-Turbo, the VW seems pretty thirsty. I guess it's a heavier van, bigger engine, and because it's the 204, it's hard to resist booting now and again (quite often)
Mine is showing 32.4 mpg.
It doesn't help that the tank is smaller than the Vivaro, so just seems like i'm always at the fuel station.

Its the only thing that dissapointed me about my 150 dsg T6.
I run it completely empty and drive it like an old granny, but I can barely get over 400 miles to a tank. Each time it regens, ( usually twice a tank full ), it loses about 40 miles of range. ( 80 miles per tank ). This equates to about 30 mpg.
My 2015, 160ps Vivaro is my main site workhorse, carrys around 400kgs of kit constantly and returns around 38mpg.
Even my old T5 174 remapped to 200bhp carrying 400kgs managed an average of 33mpg.
I'm hoping the mpg improves with more milage, but I'm not holding my breath.
