We’ve decided to sell our beloved van as we’re simply not getting the use out of it. Since buying it we’ve had another child and we’re considering replacing it with a caravan for ease of setup when we go away.
I’m very particular and spent a long time looking for the “right” van as I didn’t want to compromise on the spec at all. I bought this van at the end of 2022 and have loved owning it. Between the previous owner and I, we’ve spent about £25k modifying it to what it is today.
I’m looking for £40k which I think is reasonable given the spec. No VAT.
Reg is a private plate, which will be returned to original (LS67 0RZ) upon sale.
Approximately 66k miles
Full Service History, MOT until October (happy to put it through another for peace of mind if the buyer would like). It’s only ever had a couple of trivial advisories that have been immediately resolved – I’m very fussy when buying vehicles that they have a solid history.
It’s been continually under VW extended warranty (expires Nov 2025 and should be transferrable) so had anything it’s needed, though it’s been extremely reliable. The only things that it’s needed in my ownership were a new rear light and a ball joint. The potential EGR fault with the bi-turbo engine has also been addressed as a preventative measure by the previous owner, who had this replaced.
Standard spec
Internal Modifications
External Modifications
Located in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire.
The following can be purchased separately but won't be advertised until after the van is sold in case the new owner would like to purchase them with it:
Khyam Airtek Pro 2 awning – over £1000 new – asking £600
Cabbunk double bunk beds - £380 new – asking £280
Potentially a few other bits.

- DSG
- LWB
- T32
- Tailgate
- Comfort dash
- Discovery Sat Nav with wired apple carplay/android auto
- Electric/heated/folding mirrors
- Heated front and rear windscreen
- Heated front captain seats
- Genuine VW LED Headlights (Essential IMO)
- Air Conditioning
- Front Assist with parking sensors
- Cruise control
- Original build sheet included
Internal Modifications
- Carpet lining on ply panels & fully insulated and sound deadened rear wheel arches, sides and cab floor (Sides are triple layered, Silent Coat 3mm, Dodo Thermoliner and Dodo Thermo Fleece).
- Grey/blue suede headlining with touch-controlled spotlights
- Karndean LVT flooring (below this is 12mm plywood on top of the original kombi rubber mat, braced with 20mm battens)
- Planar Diesel Heater. This has been brilliant and uses so little fuel. We've run it through the night in the winter with the side window slightly open, but most of the time, only run it for an hour or two, it heats up the van extremely quickly!
- CBE Pc 210 system, Battery to Battery charger that cuts out when you turn the engine off, electric hook up
2 x USB sockets
2 x 240v sockets
1 x 12v socket in rear
Switches for USB Sockets, lights and Pop Top Light.
110a leisure battery (Located under front passenger seat)
240v mains hook up (Located under rear bumper) - Transporter HQ THQ50 (Alpicool) 50L 12v fridge/freezer (with LG Compressor – some of the earlier ones had cheap Chinese compressors)
- Genuine California rear bench seat and rails. I was going to fit a multiflex board but never got round to it, so just sit a board on some boxes for the top part of the bed.
- Cabinets built myself from Evo Design poplar ply. The rears have 4” foam on them. With the bed down and a panda mattress topper, this makes a very comfortable bed!
- Internal table built with the same poplar ply to match the worktop (I was going to build a rack to slot this into the door but never got round to it)
- HiLo full scenic pop top roof in black canvas, colour matched roof (not the gel coated version that fades). This is the Rolls Royce of Pop Tops when properly installed and ours has been brilliant. Easy enough to put up and take down, the space and headroom it offers is second to none. Plus, you have absolutely no idea looking at the van when it's down, that it's even there. The ultimate stealth look. HiLo had various issues and went into administration due to large numbers of their products being fitted incorrectly, however this is one of the good ones and has been fantastic! They product has essentially been rebranded as Horizon roof by VisionTech Automotive so spare parts are available, should you ever need any.
- Awning rail concealed under the pop-top.
- Genuine Multifunctional Steering Wheel (previous owner fitted a cover and did a reasonable job. It’s not perfect and there are a couple of bits on the rear that don't quite line up, though presentable).
- Custom fit rubber mats in cabin and load area
- Kiravans swivel seats
- Grey blackout VanX curtains
- Toguard dashcam/reverse cam
External Modifications
- Bilstein B14 Coilovers (only done 6-7k miles)
- BBS SX06 wheels (T32 load rated) with Avon ZX-7 tyres (replaced 2024 and only done a couple thousand miles)
- Genuine VW spoiler
- Vanstyle splitter
- Transporter HQ sequential side repeaters
- Black Sidebars
- Gloss black VW, TDI and TRANSPORTER badges
- HEKO wind deflectors (not currently fitted though can be included)
- OEM Westfalia towbar with extended height tow ball (due to the van being lowered)
