Hopefully an easy one...bottom right hand steering control to reverse/ forward track has developed a problem - it goes back whether i press forward or reverse (ie forward or skip doesn't work). Guessing it's a physical problem. Any tip to resolving without having to switch out the switch? Switch cleaner? Worst case how difficult is it to change the switch and how best to find a part number?

No, same action. It’s just like all of a sudden the forward and back are both back.
I was wondering whether to spray switch cleaner in there but I don’t want to screw things up. I just wondered if the buttons failing is a common thing on a 2016 with 70k miles.

My 2017 T6 is doing this as well. Has been for months. I upgraded the head unit for unrelated reasons and it’s still the same. Did you ever fix it?
Unfortunately not. I’d hoped in a way that it was a common problem that would receive the usual level of response on here but no solution as yet. I’m sure it will ultimately be a replacement switch module but can’t bring myself to do that if there’s a simple fix.
