I just posted this on the wrong thread...
Just when I thought I had cracked the “which solar panels” question another potential problem comes up. For me, height is critical so I can’t have anything more than 2cms above the roof. I want 200w of solar power up there and 2x100w panels would be fine. I have now discovered the Flexi panels with rear facing junction boxes. Although I’d have to drill a bigger hole in the roof they would be under might height criteria. Then it was suggested one 200w. panel means one hole. Sounds good but now I’m wondering if the Renogy 50A DC-DC charger and MPPT that I’m planning on buying would be able to handle all that at once. Any advice gratefully received before I vanish up my own conduit!
