18 Inch - How Wide Is Too Wide?

I quite like the look of these, but they are 9.5" wide all round. is that too wide for the front?

I'd of said max 9" fronts with ET40 personally, but I think 9.5s have been fitted before on here.

Nice wheels though, that style always a firm favourite of mine.

not easy finding the right wheels
shying away from 20's and 19's due to wanting to keep cushy ride and also lower ongoing tyre costs, but want a wide wheel to fill out the arches, and also some dish (concave) in them

I run 20x9.5 et40 all round. So 9.5 fronts is fine if lowered to induce some negative camber.

wow 275 is much wider than rimstyle are recommending for 9.5" !
They are listing 255's

ffs they (the industry) make speccing up wheel/tyre sizes too complicated
