Actions are not steps.
Each line (action) is an individual way of locking the vehicle.
First 2 "actions" allow to locking with SAFE-LOCK activated and remaining three with SAFE-LOCK disabled.

First press on the key button locks with safelock (deadlocks) enabled - door can not be opened from inside or out

press the lock button on the key again and the dead locks are released - door can not be opened from outside but can be opened from inside.

Thanks all! I was reading those as sequential steps rather than alternate methods

I just went out to check and when I lock the van the LED in the drivers door by the lock button does not flash at all? Tried waiting but nothing.

My problem is that it does none of these - ie never lights up in any sequence

I guess somebody disconntected the LED when the door panel was removed and forgot to plug it back in?
