Àir filter for petrol 204?

hi guys, have any of you put a performance air filter on? I want to put one on my petrol caravelle 204ps. I see on k&n they do the flat air filters, are they any good? Do they make it sound nicer? I'm only used to k&n cone shaped air intake filters and I know they sound lovely when accelerating.
I'm guessing the flat ones won't as they still have the main bulky cover over them.

Does anyone know if you can put a cone shapped air intake on it and if so what one and where to buy?
Plus if anyone knows any good websites that sell engine upgrades for the t6 petrol please let me know.

I think the MTM will just be similar to K&N panel replacement.
This is the MTM for a 2.0tsi golf

The problem with the oiled filters is that they gunge up the MAF and then provide less performance. I know K&Ns are highly rated, but If you've seen the amount of fine particles that get through you wouldn't touch one.

Well, if not the air filter, maybe the £25k power upgrade........seems a lot for for what looks like £3.5k worth of bits. But blimey I bet it goes

Must be gold plated for that much and fitted by the queen. Don't waste your time with air filters, get a remap and enjoy it
