Looking to use a Thule footpack with roof bars over the westdubs roof for carrying kayaks - we have Vamoose multirails. Is there any recommendation towards the 952 or 953 footpack? Is the 952 (20cm) sufficient clearance or is the 953 (28cm) recommended? Has anyone got this set up?

Just looking at buying a sit on Kayak, roof bars etc.also an Inflatable SUP but obviously that's not going to cause an issue. Will my bike rack cause any issues once raised with a Kayak on the roof bars ? I don't really want to remove the bike rack when im taking the Kayak out.

I have been strapping an inflatable Sevylor kayak direct to the roof of my VW T6 because I'm not a fan of the look of a rack but the time has come to purchase a rigid. Can anyone recommend a rack system for kayaks that isn't too ugly or maybe I can remove when I'm not using it? thanks
