blower fuse

I took my van in for a air conditioning fault, the guy wanted to check the pressure in the system as it looks like I have a leak. I was asked to turn the blower on full and turn on the air condition. Since doing this the maxi 40A fuse has blown. It looks like this fuse supplies the air blower...
