I guess it does mean there both interchangeable as the guys at VW thought when I spoke to them regarding this. Be handy to see the probe camera pictures of the inside seat sides and the home made box/arm rest looks decent mate.

Had a look on the IDkampers site but can't see anything relating to arm rests other than covers for them when buying seat covers? I've got the 2+1 seats in mine again without this rubber stopper? You can definitely feel where the hole is already there in the foam down the side of the seat...

Good to hear, London or Cambridge will be the furthest I’ll use mine for I guess so 150 mile round trips max. I live only 3 miles from the office so probably 3 days a week will only be doing 6 miles a day.
