All terrain tyres - recommendations and pictures

The Pirelli's drive soo well on the road; I really like them; they don't perform quite as well in standing water as the directional all-seasons such as Nokian Weatherproof/ Michelin climate cross / Goodyear vector 4 seasons (SUV). My Pirelli are 225/65/17 just look a bit thin (purely...

Why spend any more?, if you don't need that much off-road bias; consider Pirelli Scorpion AT+

Why Buy A 4motion And Not Get The Diff-lock Option ?

I don't understand why VW uses an inferior EDL system, This Volvo doesn't have a rear diff-lock but no problems here on the rollers; however, its EDL may work on the rear axle, and may not work on the front axel, (the opposite way round to VW T6) Perhaps only the very sophisticated systems...

Why Buy A 4motion And Not Get The Diff-lock Option ?

That's an excellent video, I did not realise that without a rear diff locker that the EDL could not maintain traction if you only had grip on 1 rear wheel, even with even weight distribution across the rear wheels (i.e no axel articulation issues), regardless of how much you reved the vehicle...

    Team Mojave Beige

Congratulations, your van looks wonderful, and I think the wheel arch protectors will finish it off superbly. Mojave with black contrasting really works for me; If you fancy you can always get your door mirrors fully coded in a piano gloss black as well. Do you know what the updated starter...

I hope @tyzer16 doesn't mind me copying their van into Team-Mojave :sneaky::)

    Team 4Motion.

in my eyes, your van looks a million; The chrome/bright details are perfect. I've messed around with wheels and tyres on ours, and I'm now convinced (for now ) that black/dark grey wheels work the best against Mojave beige. Great Job

OZ Racing Rally Raid alloys 17’s

I think you need to think about your tyre choice first, Some tyres have better T6 sizing options for a 17" wheel Some tyres have have better T6 sizing options for an 18" wheel

All terrain tyres - recommendations and pictures

I've taken my Nokian Weatherproof 235/55/18's off (about 8k miles on them), and put some 225/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion AT+ on, both are 3PMSN (with a change of wheels of course), I've been running around today with about 2" of snow and ice, and over the weekend with roads flooding all over the...

I might have a play with my 225/65/17 AT's, I'm currently running at a lower pressure than this

    BFG A/T on Cascavel 17’s

My Vel Exec would have come standard with Cascavel's, and I just thought they were too "fine" for the T6; I wanted the 18" "Springfield" wheels, but we couldn't place the factory order with 18" wheels and have a spare wheel, had to have a can of squirty-foam-air instead. The dealer couldn't...

95+% sure they would be 235/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion AT+ , there aren't that many size options for a T6 in this tyre range. Edit: Then again I've just looked at mine and I'm 95% sure then are 225/65/17 I think in summary I'm 99% sure they are one of the above, & I'm 100% sure this isn't much...

    20" Tyre Advice - sizing / brand / pressure

With the state of the roads around us "Pot-Holes / Pot-Craters" I would want enough sidewall rubber to protect my beautiful new alloys. So a 255/35 has 255*.35 of side wall = 89mm of rubber ; 275/40 has 275*.40= 110mm of rubber. That is 24% more sidewall rubber which is a lot of extra...

OZ Racing Rally Raid alloys 17’s

I think I would happily run these snow chains on my 225/65/17 tyres (my van is 20mm lowered) there looks to be plenty of room, and these chains are a very snug fit. Although I have absolutely zero experience of these chains, or any others for that matter o_O...

OZ Racing Rally Raid alloys 17’s

I'm really pleased with virtually every aspect of our 225/65/17 Pirelli Scorpion AT+, it drives just like a quality road summer tyre; it just looks a tad thin on 8" wheels IMO, but I'll get used it I suppose.
