    T6.1 E-Grille EHU

Is there any way to turn the plug around 180° ? Normally on an inlet the flap would be at the top and that 'might' provide enough room for the flap to fit inside the housing 🤔

    PMS 3V charger problem?

...on EHU and ‘van’ selected it puts out 13.2 volts (seems low). If I switch the EHU to ‘off’ then there is obviously no charging but a discharge of 180 mA from the leisure battery is always present. I’ve removed all fuses and am positive that nothing else is connected so the discharge must be...

    EGR Delete 180bhp

At that age a 180 would have been supplied with the revision D cooler, supposedly fitted from July 2015 onwards, so - theoretically at least - that aspect shouldn't be a consideration. That the vehicle has made it to 100k without symptoms suggests either this is the case, or its been fitted with...

    Solar Panel fail

With a 110Ah leisure battery you really don't need a large rigid panel. Amazon have some perfect 180 watt rigid panels for less than £100 that will suit your needs perfectly. Last year I had an original 200Ah Roamer battery that was kept very full by a 180 flexi panel, until 2 of them packed up...

    Barn door holding bracket

I rarely open my Barn doors to 180 degrees, but looking at the spanner option, I might make up a couple of "spanners" from a piece of steel to put into my bag of extras.

    Newbie To Vans in general

Hi guys, I'm currently looking for my first campervan, I've booked in to view a T6 BiTDi 180 BlueMotion DSG 4motion SWB 2016. I've read a lot of bad things on forums and Facebook groups about the BiTDi but they only ever seem to mention the 204 models. (this van has already covered 166k miles.)...

    180 CFCA running hot

Hi all, long time lurker on this forum. Thanks for all the valuable info. I've got a 2017 model T6 Transporter with the 180 CFCA engine. It's heavily modified for overlanding in Africa - exterior, interior as well as under the bonnet. About 18 months ago I suddenly noticed a sharp increase in...

    Anyone have Clayton supercharger?

The most I've had this year so far is 219 watts, last years best was 274 on several occasions, maxed out at 20A.

    Does this roller look ok?

Take it back. They'll refund you. £30 or £180? I know which I'd prefer to pay.

    Does this roller look ok?

I would imagine if you were missing these £180 might be regarded as quite a bargain.

    Air Fryer off battery possible?

We use an Airfryer on our 'in-van' system with a 2kw inverter or our Bluetti 180. It uses about 10% of the Bluetti's 90Ah capacity every time we fire it up for 10 minutes. Great to use though but solar panels are worth having to put some power back in!

    Caliper failure

...in, just very tight. For a VW T6, the front brake caliper guide pin bolts require 30 Nm, while the larger carrier bolts are tightened to 180 Nm. For rear brakes, guide pins are typically 35 Nm and carrier bolts are 165 Nm. Always replace caliper mounting bolts, as they are often considered...

    Swivel Bases + Seatbase Batteries

I've got my Roamer sat under the drivers seat which doesn't swivel and I'll be honest the thought of trying to turn a 230Ah lithium battery with 0 guage wires attached through 180 degrees on a regular basis gives me a chill down my back.

    Recessed fridge in wall

Depends if you want to open the door 90 deg or 180 deg. Most fridges need open 180 to get the shelves and freezer box out.
