Whats the "old coke can" mod?

...parts dependant on which turbo I have installed on my van (150ps CXHA) and I would either need to get the turbo part number myself or bring the EGR pipe in to compare (bit of a trek without a van to drive there). Is that correct, there are 2 variants which will only fit the specific turbo?

Luckily we've just had our intake manifold, EGR + pipes, Charge cooler rad + pipes & 4 new injectors replaced under warranty with Salop Vans Shrewsbury. But told just the inlet manifold replaced would have been around a £1000 on its own.

Well ill see what Monday brings and see what they have to say about trying to have my pants down with the egr pipe cheers guys

Have a Search on EGR pipe, the split pipe that you have has been superceded with a better design. If you have the correct tools and ability there is no reason why you can’t renew it yourself.

Van is 2016 (66 plate). They say leaking soot from EGR pipes. Radiators probably is leaking because the coolant level was low a few weeks ago.

I've had my front pipe replaced before.... It was leaking at the gasket front left.(Soot and smell) Id ignore the implausible signal code for now..just log and delete, and see 😔 f it come back. But the 12* insufficient flow is a possible sing of a clogged EGR cooler. They need replacing...
