Next step is to plan a trip to @CRS Performance hopefully for a bit of added comfort and handling
I'm glad I'm not the only one thats done this...... the last 2 weeks spent researching on and off..... decided on FalkenWildpeaks 235/65/17 on a new set of 17x8 rims with an ET35.
Very nearly went for a set of 245/65/17 but on std T32 suspension its seems there is a very small possibility of...
So at the weekend I addressed something that has been bothering me.
Since changing the Devonports for 17" Steelies and FalkenWildpeak 235/65/17 tyres, I've not been comfortable with a 215/60/R17 as the underslung spare wheel. So, a few weeks back I purchased a Bridgestone Ecopia 235/65 R17 AT...

I do wish I got the Devonports when I swapped wheels. I found some affordable sets but I need to have them painted black which costs a bit :)
Is 235/65/17 a standard size that you can match your spare with?
I assume you have measured? My LWb shuttle with roof prep, OEM suspension and FalkenWildpeaks 235/65/17 sits at 1.94 (fully loaded and I mean FULLY loaded).
I was going to start a post asking a similar question. I've just swapped out my 20" wheels for some Tomahawk Kato 17's with 235/65R17 FalkenWildpeaks. With my 20's I always ran around 42psi, but noticed the '40 psi max' warning printed on the Wildpeaks. Any input from similar set-ups also...
I run 235/65/17 FalkenWildpeaks on my T6, fitted to 17 x 8.5 et 34 wheels.
The coilovers are set to 70 mm (the lowest of their advertised range) but it actually sits at 90mm with an arch gap of 370mm.
No rubbing at all.
