    Lithium Battery for Inverter

Renogy advise 100ah lithium per 1000w inverter. So that is three 100ah lithium batteries for your 3kw inverter.... Plus a 50A DC-DC charger to keep them going. Your XR AGM battery will struggle over 600w on just battery.... So you will need to have the engine running while the inverter is...

Leisure battery planning - advice needed

Is it about allowing the desired the current draw, but setting a ceiling on the current in case the lithium spikes it to crazy levels, therefore instantly protecting the cable? 16mm2 is enough right?

    Gas detector testing

Lithium leisure batteries are LiFePO4. Little to no chance of a thermal runaway, they are a different chemistry to the explodey e-bike batteries. Sulphide from a lead-acid, either you'll smell it, or the CO monitor will pick it up (apparently they usually do). Or go Lithium. As said, do it...

    Lithium recommendation

I upgraded mine with a 100A Renogy core. Has BMS with low temp protection. Also runs a 1000w inverter for a coffee machine. Fits under the passenger seat. Just check to make sure your charging system is suitable for lithium.
