The first van is a 2018 limited model in silver with 79k on the clock, only one previous owner and owned by me since it was 12 months old early...

Clearing out my garage and have the following items for sale
1- Rearaircon/heater unit taken from my 2017 T6 when it was converted to a camper at 35,000 miles. Looking for offers around £60
2 - VW T6 DAB radio/disc/satnav unit-removed from 2017. Shuttle when I upgraded 18 months ago (was...
Hope you find something. I wouldn’t worry too much about limiting yourself to a T32 as you can always up plate a T28/30. I’ve recently up plated my T28 to a MAM of 3150kg (1650 front, 1500 rear) with no need for any modifications. It was a simple paperwork exercise and cost £275. It’s also worth...
I don't have either of those.
It's a 70ah Moll battery, I think I would prefer a bigger battery, fitted under the drivers seat (as I may get a swivel base for the passenger) and with the option of adding 230v and solar.
I've been quoted £245, fitted, by a local independent VW specialist, which seems reasonable based on the prices I can find for the genuine parts online (anywhere from £150 to £200).
I do have one of the easier to work on vans, but would need to buy the right spline tools for the job, so probably...

2019 T32 T6 SWB Camper based on a VERY high spec T32 Kombi Highline 204 DSG.
Only 1 previous owner, and owned by me since July 2020.
Converted to 4-berth camper, with hookup and full off-grid capability (1200W inverter, 130Ah battery and solar panel), with onboard hot and cold water to sink and...
That’s the same as mine, definitely no aircon in the rear. At best it will just blow ambient air but it will heat for use in the winter.
During summer it is all but useless as the ambient air runs next to the steel roof panel so actually gets warmer on its way to the exit vents. You need the...
can’t comment on the bhp, but we only tend to bimble along at 60. Van life is more laid back.
Personally the extra space in a LWB is invaluable.
Don’t worry about stuff that you don’t need initially and can be easily added later.
So make sure you have aircon, rear parking sensors etc.
A good...
...As for fitting, that highly depends on what model van you have. Judging by your photo I'm guessing it's one of the simpler ones with no rearAircon/DSG/extra turbos etc. on a Caravelle with an extremely crowded engine bay it's a several hour job done from below. On a basic van, it's a 20...
Hi - still haven't found van to replace my current so here goes again -
Looking for my next van and have a set of requirements (not in any order) – this is based on previous van ownership and wanting basically to buy and use without having to do much – that said if you have anything that fits...
Just bought my first T6.1 auto camper last month. Maybe could help a bit here:
- decide on SWB or LWB first. Biggest decision.
- my T6.1 with RIB bed, kitchen, Reimo roof weights in at 2520kg with 2 people (143kg), luggage, camping equipment. So about 2400kg without people. T30 or T32...
That is an option certainly. As above climate control air con, crazy or very tough not to have it My 101FC did not have it younger and fitter then and the thrill of the big outdoors and wilderness to counter any discomfort that was a real forward control vehicle with the engine under my left...
Thank you @mmi for all of you useful help and continued support with this.
21st of March was when the van went back to the dealers the first time to investigate the problem. You can be almost certain they cleared any codes to try and hide something.
The everyday drain should not have been an...
I do like the fully fitted headlining with air vents and side panels. I'm not a massive fan of using cruise control. Led lights would be great along with heated windscreen but I suppose I've lived with it till now. Heated seats are not a massive miss but nice to have on a cold morning struggle...
...(shh, don’t tell!).
Here’s what I’m working with:
• Van: 2020 T6.1 LWB Barn doors with dual sliding doors
• Constraints: Rearaircon unit, so no dual wheel arch sub boxes for me
• Head Unit: Mekede Dudu 7 (I bought this as it seemed to be the only HU that allows up to...
