...Normally on B2B chargers there is a wire to the alternator circuit to detect that the engine is running in order to activate the charger.
How old is your starterbattery, if it’s not in good health the alternator output will be lost in the defective starterbattery.
Has it ever worked correctly?
try it with the fan on blower #2,#3
try it with the headlights on.
you got stop/start?
smart alternator?
sensor on the battery NEG post?
post some pics of the starterbattery.
how old is the battery?
.../ stop charge voltages in the CTEK data sheet it looks like the smart alternator signal would allow the leisure battery to drain the starterbattery down to 11.4V which seems very low to me.
Is it a really bad idea to leave the smart alternator cable unconnected so as not to hammer the...
The 10mm2 will potentially give you 40A from the starter to the B2B charger which realistically is plenty, fuse it accordingly.
The 6.00mm2 could be used for a conventional accessory load, say an amplifier for the van HU or anything else you might want from the starter rather than the leisure...
...for a Fogstar Drift 105Ah and now it doesn´t charge.
The profil is tset correct, the ignition + works, all cables are ok, all my accessories have power...
In the App I can see the leisure battery as well as the starterbattery voltage so I assume batteries are connected correct.
Any ideas?
...of a guess, but in general:
Yep
Usually just the leisure battery
Yep
Will charge whatever you connect it to, but not usually the starterbattery via the leisure battery. You've got your Rayne charger doing your leisure battery, so the Noco would be better used to trickle the starter...
Trickle charge the starterbattery and then when you drive anywhere, the DC charger will sort the leisure battery. Unless you only drive 5mins down the road ofcourse.
...topped up.

I now have a Fogstar Lithium leisure battery and an Ablemail battery maintainer, on the unfortunate longer periods when I don't use the van it keeps the starterbattery at full charge.
Ok my battery is on its way out. I don’t do much in the way of mileage.
The battery is stop start. It has a big Red Cross on a label saying not to connect leads to the battery earth!
So. Where I do connect it?
It’s a power pack jump starter and the pads are very short.
Also where do I connect...
Yes. Starterbattery. OK great, not that bothered if start/stop does not work for a while. Only use the van on long trips and never in town so not much call for start/stop anyway.
...pretty, but keep a few pounds spare to change out the AGM leisure battery for Lithium, put a solar panel on the lid and make sure the starterbattery is kept trickle charged by the leisure battery somehow, many quality converters ignore looking after the starterbattery, leading to the van...
...Noco or similar would be more for when on camp sites etc not wanting the battery to be dead after 2/3 days as from what Iv read the starterbattery can drain quite quickly from the opening/unlocking of doors etc.
The van also won’t move much as it’s purely for trips away!
Or is there a...
...You can use the engine run signal going in here as the control input for your new DC-DC. You can reuse the actual input from the starterbattery as long as it's fused nicely above the max input current of your chosen DC-DC, to check this just locate the fuses by (possibly under) the starter...
