What issues are you having? Poor reception? I've just installed a powered DAB antenna to see if it helps but I noticed today even just on bluetooth the audio will cut out very sporadically (standard head unit) - so potentially not a DAB issue for me

I would be interested to know more about the aerial please, which one, how easy (or not) it was to install etc 🙂

I used our friend Google and did some reading up on dsp audio. Every day is a school day! Not keen if it ruins dab signal though. The dab aerial on the T6 seems to be particularly vulnerable to passive interference.

It’s because you have pulled the plugs off incorrectly, you have the bit which is suppose to be left on the old head unit stuck in the plug, remove these then the adapters will fit

I’ve been watching that, but I have never had a great dab signal in the van so been wondering how they can tell, I thought that was normal. Certainly haven’t noticed it being any worse after the lights were fitted

My van had no OE DAB Ariel. It’s a pioneer one that I got with the head unit

My cheap Chinese head unit doesn’t have DAB so cannot answer this one sadly.

I've found those Corefix plugs very good for dabbed on plasterboard. I used they for virtually everything in MILs new build. @DXX Are you fixing straight to the blocks, or going through plasterboard first?

So I`ve just ordered one. Quick question, I never use the DAB on my current factory fitted unit, so is the new units FM good enough.

My DAB has taken a bit of a hit also. In regards to the ferrite cores, is it a case of fitting these on all the wires as they leave the headlight assembly?

Mine seem to work fine when the dipped beam is on but on drls only dab is very on/off. I’ve emailed the seller and they’ve asked for a video so will do that at the weekend. Fitting an external dab antenna would likely fix it but that’s not cheap either.

Hi Rob, I may be getting myself completely confused there. I'm not 100% the RCD330 has DAB 🤦🏻‍♂️ Think I need to stop looking at all these head units for a minute. It's boggling my brain haha Thanks Steve
