The unit has arrived, long with the parts that @Dundee_Kev has suggested. Does anyone have any installation videos? I'm really confused on the Amazon DAB receiver for example. I thought I could just connect to the existing DAB antenna?

Mine have been excellent for circa 8 weeks, everything working as it should all levellers working correctly etc but I do have the whole loss of dab issue. I’m hoping that I can sort that at some point with a better dab aerial though.

The DRLs dim when the headlights are on. It does seem strange. I had V1 headlights and bumper grille DRLs and had no DAB issues at all.

What DAB receiver have you got. My understanding of them was that they had their own aerial as an input, then either connected to the head unit via usb, or transmitted either a bluetooth or FM signal that the headunit could tune into.

If you don't mind losing DAB and the CD player, have a look at the RCD330 or RCD360

I fitted mine this week in between the rain. Omg what a difference, really pleased with the way they look and perform. No problems with my dab either, in saying that it isn’t the factory head unit. I fitted an android unit last year because the factory dab was rubbish

I can't say that the issues I had with DAB were related to fitting LED headlights to my van. I don't really remember DAB getting worse at a particular time, but it was virtually unusable until I fitted a shark fin DAB aerial, and is not almost faultless (other than geographically problematic)

Yes, I've lost all DAB radio. The DAB signal isn't strong on the south coast, but I've now lost it all. I'm going to try a ferrite core or add a DAB antenna in the rear. Headlights look great and are really bright. As a headlight only, they are brilliant.

How are the runners lubricated? Perhaps cleaning the runners followed by a gentle dab of light oil would rejuvenate them and bring them back to how they should be.

Excuse my thickness 🤪 When you say DAB issues is that to do with the head unit… I still have the original OEM radio in my T6… so people then saying it interferes with the radio and doesn’t work?

Does anyone here suffer with DAB poor signal after fitting these headlights? Over on the Vland thread a lot are suffering with poor DAB signal after fitting the Vland headlights.
