...box, but I replaced it with an amplified double FAKRA version, which does work better.
I had to buy an SMA to single FAKRA lead to use the OEM DAB antenna. The DAB adapter didn't come with one, but did come with a windscreen mount antenna. I chose not to use this as a test fit didn't really...
Even cheaper now, car audio direct came back with a cheaper offer of £797 and then £75 discount on eBamaking it £725, bargain. It’s how I bought my stuff last year. Expensive but good upgrade.
Hi Mick
I did not use the supplied dab antenna from Road Angel. I bought an adapter off of Amazon to fit the VW dab antenna already there.
Hope this helps ... All items bought are listed in a earlier post.

Finall got around to citing my headlights OMG what a difference and so easy to fit. Added the ferrite Coes and no change to the DAB was already crap in my area. Now to find some decent rear smoked lights for a barn door. Trouble is I don’t want sequential indicators.
Really you need to know what frequency RF you're trying to choke off to reduce the spurious radiation that's swamping the DAB signal frequency.
UK DAB uses frequencies around 225 MHz so ideally you would want a ferrite that would effectively act as a bandpass filter and provide a much higher...

2, Is their a New LED light unit that does not affect the DAB?
I have a 2019 Highline.
Thanks in advance
Daft question, does the original DAB aerial in the van not just plug straight in and hey presto off you go?
Or do you actually need the kit that @Dundee_Kev has kindly put the link up to?
sorry for being Tim nice but dim... but where is this info to remove the head unit?
want to remove mine as i want to see the the DAB connection as i want to renew the aerial - as it's not working.
1. Yes it's plug and play.
2. Not sure on the FM side of things is as i either use DAB or a radio app.
3. Camera plugs into the rear of the stereo, you then need to trace the wires to the rear and get the feed from the reversing light. (Still waiting to fit mine)
I just make do with the...
Yes bud done the same on the T6 ripped out the door mirror DAB and threw it in the bin will be doing the same with the 6.1. Anything has to be better that what I have now it’s really poor doesn’t stay fixed to the national stations keeps dropping out. I will feed on how it does. 👍🏻
