The 275 tyre had less stretch as well. I believe there is more difference in the side wall height than you think. 255/45/19 - Michelin CC2 auf 8.5J Rim (that would l look better with your springs :cool: ) - Speedo bang on at 70mph.

Yes, I did wonder if 46 was a bit too high? I've had a read of the thread you recommended and it was very informative, however this is mainly aimed at 20" wheels. The guy at Bognor Motors sound very knowledgeable, would he be able to advise me for the 255/45/19 size?.

Also try 275/40/19 that’s what I’ve got. I prefer them over the 255/45/19

Thank you for the advise, I will put some pics up when there on. I've gone with Pirelli Powergy 255 45 19 - 104, hopefully a good choice.

You should have 255-45 tyres on a 19" wheel. Try searching for that size instead.

First long trip in the van since pop top fitted. 2019 T6 / T32 150 DSG, Skyline Pop Top, 255/45/19 Michelin CC2 Midlands to Germany (450miles). 2 adults, 2 kids and dog. Loaded with around 150kg luggage. Doing GPS 70/72 in the UK and around GPS 80 on the continent. Quite windy all the way...
