Starter battery still charging after 14 hours whilst static

Little update after being on the phone with VE support who were very helpful but unable to help despite trying all manner of settings. The underlying problem of a parasitic drain will need to be found first when it goes in on Monday but like others have suggested I will be getting the live wire...

    T6.1 Additional USB port needed

At least one of the fuses under and to the right of the steering column has a key-on live as I used it for my dashcam. Just needed a piggy back plug for that and the live feed.

    B 2 B Ignition Feed?

Just Installed the Renogy 50a dc-dc charger under passenger seat and pretty much done but now need i to connect the red ignition live wire from charger to an ign live, for the smart alternator. T6 2018 I’ve looked and found a relevant post regards tapping into fuse box under gear lever in cab...

    Team Startline with unpainted bumpers

Hi Pugsley, I’m in the process of fitting the DRL bonnet strip and have also used a piggyback fuse. Does your DRL stay on for 30 seconds or so after you have removed your keys? I couldn’t find any supply other than permanent lives or ignition lives that stayed powered up for a short while after...

    T6.1 12v socket/cig lighter fuse location

Good day all - as a follow up to this thread... are any of the fuses under the seat in a T6.1 (as opposed to a T6) ignition live? Or do I have to go from the fusebox between the steering column and the headlight switch?

Driver & Passenger Seat - Adding Second Battery (in parallel)

...What type of cable should I look to run between the two bases (appreciate a link to it online) And 2) I understand there is no ignition live under the passenger seat, is that correct ? If so, while I’m here i guess it would make sense to run a 12v cable from the centre fuse board so i at...

RAC - wiring and aux battery!

Just got started on removing the RAC wiring on mine today. Have got a good portion of the wires exposed now, in terms of wires going forward (assuming that being the stuff going down the A pillar) do you know where those cables then ran? Did you have to take the dash apart in order to remove these?

    Ignition live for 500w inverter?

I see, I don't really want to go down that route. Reading the manual for my inverter, it comes with a 12v cigarette plug and states you shouldn't pull more than 150w using this plug. I'm sure there's a calculation for the watts and amps, but apparently the DeWalt charger doesn't pull much more...

    Charging EcoFlow with solar

So I have an EcoFlow Delta Mini as below being charged via an XT60 cable from an ignition live under the passenger seat. However, this set up just about copes with the daily draw on it by trickle charging when driving. But I'm wondering about a small solar panel either fixed to the roof or a...

Can i ask @Dellmassive a couple of questions please. Also,my leisure battery is under my passenger seat, right where the loom comes up...

    What Have You Bought Today?

The mirror fold on lock I'd love to have (currently long hold the lock button to get them to fold) but I'll need to read up as I'm not sure it's possible on the T6, right? Still, plenty to be getting on with!

    Feed for switching Clayton LPS?

Yep go for a switched live, you'll need to go for the fuse box in the centre dash unless you are replacing a second battery in which case you could use the charging relay signal wire under the seat. You don't have to plunder a fuse, have a good look in the fuse box and you'll note that the...

Hard wired Dash Cam not working

Hi there, I have hard wired my dash cam into my T28 T6, I have piggy backed the switched live off the fuse board under dash, and used the blue fuse in the centre column, I removed the side panel of dash where air bag switch is and used a screw that’s going in to metal as ground, i put ignition...

    Renology Dc-dc Battery Chargers

Covered in quite a few threads now, there is no real D+ on a modern stop start engine. Any ignition live circuit will be fine. There isn't one under the seats so you'll have to put a feed in from the dash fusebox. If you are really worried then you can use the BCM charge signal that the OE...
