No, I had the plastic fantastic wheel on my Trendline and got a genuine T6 wheel with airbag. Physical swap was OK but needed additional wires and coding.... @Dav-Tec did mine and I think it was one of the first he did I seem to remember

You can add basic CC with just the stalk. Adaptive cruise is more involved..... MFSW, abs pump check, etc etc...

Reminds me of mine! It may actually be a highline - the leather MFSW and fogs were not standard on trendlines. Mine was incorrectly registered as a trendline but definitely a highline

You should check the faults in vcds first... Did you set these as per the guide on first page: BCM 09: Set Byte 09, Bit 3 Tells BCM a MFSW is installed Set Byte 29, Bit 6 Tells the BCM to use pin 36 on T73b for MFSW LIN Bus

I would 100% recommend it, having the ACC makes those long drives so much easier, James should be able to help find the right MFSW for you - mine was from a VW Golf. This job along with the mapping didn't take long.
