The actual steering wheels are the same as long as they have the 2 clip holes on the left and right.
I had a plastic wheel on my startline bought a flat bottom steering wheel and fitted T6 buttons and surround and used my original air bag.
I needed additional wiring and coding in.
No, I had the plastic fantastic wheel on my Trendline and got a genuine T6 wheel with airbag. Physical swap was OK but needed additional wires and coding.... @Dav-Tec did mine and I think it was one of the first he did I seem to remember
Reminds me of mine! It may actually be a highline - the leather MFSW and fogs were not standard on trendlines. Mine was incorrectly registered as a trendline but definitely a highline
Thanks mate, my MFSW doesn’t have the buttons. I’m not bothered about it though, I’ve got it on my current car and my 3 cars before that and never used it once

A bit late to ask re steering wheels but are they the same, mfsw and plain just with different trim and button arrangement ? can I buy a mfsw and just swap the trim and bag from my plastic trendline one ? Im thinking the quest for buttons might be a step to far at my age !! Thanks everso !
You should check the faults in vcds first...
Did you set these as per the guide on first page:
BCM 09:
Set Byte 09, Bit 3 Tells BCM a MFSW is installed
Set Byte 29, Bit 6 Tells the BCM to use pin 36 on T73b for MFSW LIN Bus
I would 100% recommend it, having the ACC makes those long drives so much easier, James should be able to help find the right MFSW for you - mine was from a VW Golf. This job along with the mapping didn't take long.
