Charging e-bike from leisure battery: blown fuse

100w divided by 12v is 8.3a. So if it's trying to pull 100w from a 7.5a fused 12v socket, that's your reason! I presume the 7.5a fuse is on the vehicle side, not on the charger? Swap out for a 10a - 12v sockets are OK up to 10a, anything more and you'll run the risk of melting them.

...90deg to the sun. Having said that you haven't said what size panel? Assuming you said 11A, so expecting a 200w panel, as you can get 6A per 100w panel max. What solar controller are you using,? Into what battery? The battery needs to be low to get max power from the panel..... As the...

100w was indeed the hillside quote. Solar camper solutions quoting Iro £500 for 100w or 950£ ish for 200 onto rails. (This is victron kit) But the fitting will be a pig (internal routing). I only have a 75ah leisure, will swap out in future for lifepo if I can get someone to do that work...

    Portable Solar panel confusion

I suspect 100w will help slow your loses but I'd think 200w will be better to keep up. I know you are only thinking of a one off but consider that if it works well you might want to do it again. Also if you're willing to write off the cost of a cheap set of 100w panels - you could always sell...
