Good. The "position sensors" are good.
Good. "Ejection" circuitry is good.
You need to see a change in channel 8 (value 4) for the system operate correctly. How about shorting the pin 13 to ground?
Well, the OBDeleven labels are from users - without verification. Anyways, quite possibly...
Yes. Most of it works. Toggle switch needs the Audi modem I think. There is a post from Mickhar on here and he had help from Stan the man. Mick was a great help to me as he lives fairly close to
...on the negative so I can isolate when I am not using the van. (Are all 3 cig lighters always live?)
2. Piggyback onto the fusebox on a switchedlive feed, assuming I can get a piggy to 12v cig lighter adapter.
3. Continue to plug/unplug every time I need the camera.
Any advice would be...
No, not really. It’s plugged into a USB socket in the dash top power socket. I’ve re-wired that socket so it’s ignition switched rather than permanently live. So the Carpuride switches on/off with the ignition but isn’t permanently/directly wired in. Magsafe phone charger is into the same socket...
Just reading this thread and am in the same position. Would it be true to say then that tweaking the settings should mean there is no need to run a switchedlive to terminal H on the charger as the issue of engine shutdown will also be dealt with. ?
So... mid journey at the moment to the north coast of Scotland. (Done the nc500) doing a tour of Sunderland. Got to Beauly near Inverness. Thought id top up with fuel. Pulled out the garage and the van started jerking forward . Braked. It was fine. Then 5 warnings on the digital display. (Esc...
I waited months for a new clutch master cylinder with inbuilt sensor. When I plugged the new one in, it still wouldn’t start, so it wasn’t the sensor!
The van eventually started and I drove it for a couple of weeks and then it wouldn’t start again.
I’m now trying to trace the fault in the wiring...
Mine still does this; I find that if I fill up with premium diesel it seems to resolve the issue for the next couple of tanks. My assumption is that the float switch is somehow getting stuck on fuel uptake for my Eberspacher heater - 9 years in I just live with it and refuel every 400 miles or so.
This is probably why it can be so confusing to people,,,, and normally why every RCBO will have on the reviews and comments... " Does this switch the natural?"

AI Overview

Yeah this is what happens I was just concerned it would fail mot ?
To be honest it’s better as it’s a bit brighter on a night so I prefer it and am happy but mot is my worry
I've done a front end conversion and before I go through with the problem it's running transporter hq led rear light, side repeaters and there v1 led drl headlights.
Done the conversion and had no sidelights it was staying as drl all the time. Can't remember if it changed to side lights with...
The modem is quite expensive, especially if you just want to switch on the heater to preheat the van. I just used one of these,

Ring or send a text and the heater fires up on full blast for 2 hours. Just needs a live and earth and two wires run to the heater...
