If you can't decide and it really is 50:50, maybe it should come down to something as silly as the headlights. If the non-LED van has H4, go with the LED van unless the LED lights aren't self-levelling, then go with the other one, unless the other one has H4 and so it goes... Or just wait for...

I'm presuming that you have H4 headlights? If so, HIDs won't work. The halogen bulb has two filaments. One for dipped and one for main beam. Each one focused on a different part of the reflector. HIDs are a single light source that will give you essentially main beam regardless of which beam...

You mean H7 on one side and H4 on the other? Should be no problem. Edit: you won't want to code the Main and Dipped beams to come on together until you have swapped both.
