T6 Full LED Headlights plug and play, who has them, what are they like?

I didn't get any adapter, because I used VCDS to change coding from H4 to H7. If you have H4 headlights and don't have an opportunity to code the central electrics module with VCDS/OBDEleven/Carista etc., you'll need the H4 adapter.

T6 Full LED Headlights plug and play, who has them, what are they like?

Just finished installing full LED headlights to T6 and here are some pictures. I bought the lights from Germany (lichter-profi), but lights are from China considering the markings. The lights were almost plug&play, all I had to do is change the central electrics coding from H4 to H7...

Customised headlight i did a do

Many projectors are mounted through the H4 bulb hole, so the reflector remains in place and the levelling adjustment works as it does now. Having fitted projectors in a few other headlight, I did attempt to do the same with Transporter ones, but for the like of me I couldn't get them appart.

Customised headlight i did a do

After a lot of faf i managed to get a pair of headlights split. I've split many many sets of headlights over the years and these have been the hardest to do, and the biggest. The reason... i wanted to change the chrome stripe on my T6 grill for a red stripe, pretty cool, adds 12 bhp and makes...

FREE 2016 T28 original suspension, H4 headlights and tailgate tail lights

...was replaced at 50k miles. Rear shocks are corroded on outer tubes but are fine mechanically. Fronts fine. Springs included with both. H4 Headlights were replaced around the same time. Fitted with LED sidelight bulbs. Tail lights are tailgate fitting - won't fit a barn door. Bright LED bulb...

Sold 16" original fitment steel wheels, tyres and wheel covers

...better luck on Ebay - most people on the forum replace them. On paper they would cost quite a lot to buy new however reality is few people want them. I got £80 for mine in silver (so no trims) for all 4. Ditto H4 headlights £180-£200 each new and lots are given away free on the forum. GLWTS.

    Stealth LED grille lights

Be careful what you buy, those Stealth lights are auxiliary lights and you can't use them to supplement a dipped beam, which is where the standard H4 lights are most lacking. I'd go with Transporter HQ lights, which many of us have.

    T6.1 Aftermarket Headlight choices

Most of the comments will be about the standard T6 headlights which are H4 rather than H7, and downright dangerous. For once, VW seemed to have taken note when designing the T6.1 !!

    Two days and love it.

Headlights - You probably have H4. Best value for money upgrade is a pair of H7 Headlights (often pop up on ebay and theres a dedicated thread on this forum if you have a search) Rock n Roll bed rattle - They will probably all rattle in different places so its down to you to do some...

    Welcome new members

Welcome to the forum. Not sure on the EGR picture, they all smell on Regen so don't think that has any bearing on it. Any dash lights? If not then I would say all is good.

    Welcome new members

Hi all, newbie here. Having spent the last few weeks since picking up my van trawling the forum (much to my wife’s dismay) it’s great to see so much knowledge and advice being shared. So far you’ve made me buy: - 235/65/17 wild peaks on the devonport wheels - h7 caravelle lights upgrade from...

    Wanted T6 Headlights for experiment

Hi, anyone have a set of original headlights that they're tripping over and want rid of? I'm looking to try the experiment of heating them up to remove the lenses before I get about taking my current ones out. It might be a disaster so not really looking to pay much. Lenses must be...

    Carista tweaks

On the original Carista you have to do it through the beta version, not sure if the Evo has that option. Have a look on the Carista website for info about the beta version.

    Carista tweaks

Hi, I have fitted THQ headlights to replace the OEM H4 halogens on my T6 and I purchased a Carista Evo so I could adjust the ECU so dip beam stays on with high beam. The Carista works fine and I had fun changing various settings, but I can't see how to adjust this feature. I have looked under...

    FREE T6 Headlights

T6 headlights with the passenger side having missing top lugs and some scatching to the main lens. No idea if road legal but they have passed an MOT in the past. Maybe useful to someone I'm based in Peterborough but do travel around from time to time but will end up dumping if they don't go soon.

    TransporterHQ LED Lights Advice

I’m in the same boat, really need to upgrade the headlights. Just fitted some better H4 bulbs to go on with for now ( Phillips race bulbs). Not tried in the dark yet but not expecting massive improvement. I may wait for the THQ led’s to become available to buy. Does anyone know if these new...
