You need a specialist, either a marque specialist or a diesel specialist who can methodically diagnose the problem instead of taking a guesswork based aim and firing a parts cannon at your expense.
Try AdBlue Diagnostics – Langley Garage if you want such a system properly looked at.
Can someone clarify if deleting the EGR means that the vehicle becomes non-roadworthy (illegal to use on the public highway)? I know that is the case with Adblue/DPF systems.
Cheers
...covering this so apologies if I’ve missed something.
My 2022 Transporter 6.1 is still under warranty with about 10,000 miles driven. The Adblue warning message to top came on as expected which I did with the required volume bought from a high street supplier. Everything was fine for 1500...
Latest from me is a local garage has advised 2 options:
1. Replace the whole AdBlue tank (as has been mentioned on here).
2. “Map out” the AdBlue system. Apparently this means that the AdBlue will still be consumed but won’t flag errors on the dash. Anybody know if this is right? How will I...
Too much fancy electronics (apart from ACC, I like that 😊) and ever tightening euro 6 stuff. Junk an OE system off a bike and boom, 10kg lighter.
I’m not relaxed about the adblue system on my 6.1. The dash is like a video game too. I was astonished it came with a dipstick too.
The later T6.1 have a 23ltr adblue tank. Also the rate at which the adblue counts down changes with engine load. I noticed that when towing it drops a lot quicker.

Too many (Flo would argue not enough) dog walk 5 milers, weekly Worcester 85 mile return trip
Close eye on Soot with vagdpf and Slothburgers app
Just purcased a T6 van and when I open the addblue dashboard page, it displayes --- rather than displaying miles left.
The van was serviced just prior to my purchase and apparantly the adblue was refilled.
Are the dashes normal?
Thanks
I can picture the adverts now…
“This isn’t standard AdBlue, this is an artisan blend using urea from Jersey cows, grazed on organic pastures, and mineral water drawn from beneath protected moorland in the Scottish Highlands. This is M&S AdBlue”

So we know Mannol oil is cheap and I'm sure many of us wouldn't use it for our van but what about this adblue?
AdBlue is just a mixture of distilled water and urea and this seems to conform to ISO standards so looks like an insane deal to me considereing it's delivered...
