👋 I fitted the new Climair winddeflectors yesterday. The ones with the rubber and metal trim clips that attach by the wing mirrors.
They’re securely fitted and the window channel is clear but still the window catches the clips on the way up when closing.
Has anyone experienced (and...
Just fitted some Veedubs winddeflectors…. £35 from Veedubs online. Uses the sticky adhesive and 3 small clips in the channel to fit. Took less than 30 seconds each one and so far haven’t noticed any difference in road noise.
No sticking to the outside door panel and no drilling any holes...
Some lovely pressed metal plates - dreading trying to get the current ones off though. Gave them a quick tug and they're pretty well stuck - probably going to follow the good old dental floss approach.
Also finally got round to fitting the winddeflectors i got from VeeDubs
I added a second solar panel to our poptop and I used this stuff. Its the same as the convertor used to stick their panels on with, they recommended it to me. Think I bought 2 tubes but only needed 1 in the end. Not had any problems
Hi
Air flow was ok when combined with a roof vent. No problems with rain as had winddeflectors fitted as well. The brandrup ones for California’s give more airflow if you can find them.
Fitted winddeflectors and finish at last middle trim in orange to match rest need take better picture from inside.
Tested as well gas bbq Cadac 40 whatever name it is.
A pair of winddeflectors that are too good to throw away. Come with 4 of the clips but you can buy more online if needed. Think they were dark or smoke tint. Collection only but are down at the NEC on the 25th if that helps. £10ono
...or going out of the way..
Out of the way it is then :D
Painted the brake calipers all round, I'm pleased with how they look!
I did, however, help with housework afterwards!
Next plan, get some Carnuba Wax and give the paintowrk a good going over and maybe a pair of ClimAir WindDeflectors.
...3coms or more.
I'm wondering if it is a common issue - also wondering if it is actually being caused by the way I have fitted my winddeflectors.
I know I could check if it's the winddeflectors simply by removing them but I thought I'd check here first. They are the Climair type by the...
...when they are on. We use the front passenger footwell space a lot when parked up so it's nice to still be able to get in there after putting the blinds in. I have winddeflectors fitted so normally crack the front windows open a bit when fitting the blinds, this stops most of the condensation
...gone back up fully. We have tried all the usual re set tricks of holding buttons down / up etc and to no avail. We've crept it up enough to sit under the winddeflector but it's still a way off the top so to speak.
Anyone have any other suggestions other than a trip to the garage?
Many...
Thanks for all your replies...glad to be part of the group.
Already pretending to listen to a work call while searching for winddeflectors and expensive rubber strips to catch coins. I did buy one vey boring thing yesterday - a Milenco Steering Lock. Definitely dull
