Gary - we have 20s on our t6.1 with Crs Koni 40mm drop. Given the chance I would have definitely put on 17” swamper as we live on the west coast of Scotland. It does drive really well but always worried about the wheels…personal preference ok but I’d think twice given your use!
What he said.
I have had the CRS KoniDefinition kit on my van for a month now and couldn’t be happier. It was so bad before (H&R lowering springs and standard dampers) I was considering getting rid of the van but now it’s perfect.
Speak to @CRS Performance and they will have a solution to...
...and H&R springs was so bad that I wished I hadn't bought the van at first (2016 SWB 140 Kombi). Shortly before Christmas I had the KoniDefinition Kit fitted at @CRS Performance in Cannock. I have had a lot of modified vehicles in the past and spent a lot of money on them but I can honestly...
I’m not sure what you’re referring to there David, the only difference I could see in the photos is the lowered height. Nevertheless, the Koni dampers are actually red (I was offered a choice of black or red). I just described what feel I was after and went with Steve’s recommendation.
Wow looks absolutely perfect . I'm keen on LV2s also. Are those staggered, if so is it 275/40/20 all round? I'm thinking 245/45/20 on the front...
Mine is a factory kombi so might not be as heavy as yours but might be closer than a panel van.
Thanks for the above O have complete faith in your system and looking forward to comming up to getbthem fitted . What tyre size do you recommend steve?
A 265 35 20 tyre is indeed the same rolling diameter as a standard wheel and tyre ( IE 17 inch Davenport ) however the ride will not be good and cracked wheels will result as there isnt sufficent side wall protection , its 36 mm smaller side wall , not a great idea...
If the budget will allow you wont get a better set up than the Definition kit we do , approx. 50 sets a month go out of here and never a bad word spoken
Based on KONI shocks and Evo Technik springs , This is a modular set up and the kit gets made up specifically for you and your...
Hi Everyone,
A couple of weeks ago I had the KoniDefinition Kit fitted to my 2016 SWB 140 Kombi at @CRS Performance in Cannock. I have had a lot of modified vehicles in the past and spent a lot of money on them but I can honestly say that this is one of the best suspension upgrades I have ever...
My van is not lowered (hence me not bothering to give too much detail in my previous post) as I don’t mind the look and ride height as is and don’t want to worry when crossing fields. I went for the Koni Special Actives with stock springs. Advised more travel equals more comfort which confirmed...
Another recommendation for @CRS Performance. I don't often write reviews but once in a while there's a company/person that just gets it and goes the extra mile.
A couple of weeks ago I bought the H&R coilover kit for my T5.1 to fit myself. Previously running Sportline eibachs on factory shocks...
Just thought I would provide my opinion here in case someone is considering upgrading their suspension. I have a T6.1 T32 Kombi, running on 18" wheels, which now carries very little weight. Soon after I had the van, I installed Eibach Comfort adjustable lowering springs and had the van dropped...
