Hi, these look amazing! How did you attach the upvc tracks? I have OEM windows so not sure if I need to build a slightly modified frame

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Day 2 of the furnature build. Needs fixing in place, accessories adding, fine tuning and the top locker scribing and fitting but I'm really happy with this.

    Sherwood Campers

...years ago to convert a bare panel van, they did an excellent job, we’re really pleased. The ability to choose the colour of each aspect of the build was great and they were supportive and helpful throughout the process. Build quality is amazing, no squeaks or rattles, even after 2 years. No...

    2019 204PS BiTDI engine failure

No, as engine production, van build and van registration never match up. As above check the engine code via sticker, v5, reg number etc. Exeb is the older 204ps , cxec is the newer 199ps

Reclaiming VAT for a T30? Over 1 tonne?

it depends on the build spec . . . the more stuff you have the less payload you can have. the gross weight of my T32 is 3200Kg, so the available payload is that minus the vans built weight. if you need to get 100% accurate details. you might need to run it past VW.

    Buying advice. 2023 BiTDI.

to find out the engine code its on the build sticker under the dash, or on the V5C DVLA logbook - section 4:P5 - Engine Number or call a VWCV dealer with the REG number and ask them. +++++++++ the CXEC is the older version, DMZA newer version that has some changes and refinements.

    New Kia EV van

I saw a Mitie Buildings Maintenance van the other day, a Buzz. My first thought is how much are they charging customers to make this pay. My second thought was the step ladder that was being juggled out of the van barely fitted along with the few toolboxes, a truly ridiculous choice of work...

    U-Shape or Rock and Roll.

I thought about fitting brackets for single combi seat, but it would work with this u-shape set up.

    Introduction - First van

Thank you! I'll read through your build thread this evening. I have some more things I wanna do and some custom 3D printed bits as well. I'll get some decent photos of everything and share once it stops bloody raining!

Retrofit Telestart T90 on T5GP ThermoTopC: recognized, but does not start

Hi, I'm trying to build an arduino/esp32 powered remote for my Webasto Thermo Top V as well. @enkor you don't happen to have a schematic for the circuit you've setup? It's quite the challenge to reverse engineer from you photos, at least for me that's primarily a software engineer. 😅

    Black Kombi Day Van Build

Looking good! I enjoyed this part of my build! It really is amazing how much of a difference the sound deadening makes. Will you be doing the arches from the underside? I still have to do mine.

Pendle engine and gearbox remap done

Your assumption is correct. I have a Sept MY2020 build, which thankfully, is pre Bosch ECU

    2016 T6 cab water ingress! ☹️

Unsure? Water runs down the side of the A post. My other thoughts were possibly a failure of the door cable boot as in the photo but the cable is dry there? Water building up in that open chamber.!

    Clearcut single swivel

I have fitted one on the new T6.1 build and for the money it's great. You don't really need instructions as it's easy and common sense. With hindsight I might have spent a bit more on the RIB swivel top option ( easier access to swivel ) but still no complaints at all. Clearcut are a great...

    Wanted SEAT BASE BATTERY

I know it’s long shot but you never know as plans/builds change. If anyone’s considering selling a seatbase battery (230ah) give me a shout.
