Easiest way is what @CarreraRSR says. Pop the black plastic bit off the back of the hub and you can see the bottom of the sensor poking through. A flat bladed screwdriver on it and give it a few taps with a hammer and they normally release easily.
Morning all. Some advice needed. I fitted a flatbottom steering wheel with airbag. And I need to get it coded. But the horn does not work either. Have I done something wrong or Is this part of the coding piece. Thanks
Took the stupid Hella bumper protector off to stop the tailgate rubbing against it and taking the paint off the bottom lip. On the lookout for a nice flat black bumper protecter.
A rib style bed means you are sleeping on the back of the seating giving more possibilities for making it flat (or rather the seat side sculpted) and therefore the bed more comfortable (they don’t seem to bother to try hard to make the bed comfortable btw). The mechanism to open it is easy, flip...
Thanks for confirming. I think it will be ok, the one in the ad has 3 prongs at 10, 2 and 6 o' clock whereas the Transporter wheel has prongs at 9 and 3. I'll update one of the threads at some point to confirm when I've fitted.
Thanks Kev. Would my airbag of my startline wheel fit that steering wheel mate?
My vans not got CC so would just be the buttons that control the stereo I’d need working.
...got lost in there.. it would be good if this was in a video tutorial. All I know is I have a spare G7R Steering Wheel with PS, Stalks, column and key (of no use) giving me the taste of fitting a FlatBottom Wheel to my T6 Startline although possibly not this one unless @Dav-Tec can make it...
I would stick with the rake to the front, I got mine setup pretty much flat but then when loaded the back looks really low (saggy bottom!). As a camper I often fill to the max when travelling and without auto levelling something has to give, a little late, I now appreciate that this isn’t a show...
I’m sure your single seat should fold flat, I thought mine didn’t as when I pulled the lever it just lifted and went forward, iv learnt there’s a pull strap on the lower bottom right side of the seat that you pull before you pull the lever and it will fold flat
Before I put the seat base back in, as I’m going to be using one of the seat base bolts as the new main ground point, I checked it for continuity and resistance using my multimeter. I’m glad I did too as I was struggling to get reliable continuity through it at all. So, I did then follow @EAN’s...
Thought I’d post how I did each of my GND connections through a seat base mounting stud bolt.
I couldn’t use the factory GND studs under the seats because on the drivers side it had been removed to allow fitment of the diesel heater ductwork and on the passenger seat it was going to foul my...
Any help with ACC Error code… after dead battery ..
Have run VCDS and cleared all fault codes but this still comes back .. scan from VCDS suggested contro module for distance control .. no signal / communication…
The van only has CCS and not ACC but has city braking .. the radar sensor...
I’ve had mine off a few times and to be honest those side clips are pretty sturdy. The ones that hold mine on aren’t round they have two flat sides if that makes sense? I always make sure to put them back in with the ‘flats’ facing left/right rather than top/bottom, makes getting them out next...
For sale, bare steering wheel with DSG paddles. No airbag or buttons included. If you have a standard wheel with the same airbag and button layout as the one pictured then it’s a plug and play swap.
This isn’t a brand new wheel and does show some minor signs of wear but it is very presentable...
