A light has come on my dash and it's the day driving light I think as one has gone out. I have a t6 and the light has a blue tinge to it. Is this a standard bulb? I've read about its possibly a big job to change for some reason? Strange to just change a bulb.

I had 55w in mine mate. I would say if you've not bought the headlights yet go for LED over the THQ as they are much better....The THQ indicator and DRL is almost invisible in sunlight.

A set of Transporter HQ led H7 bulbs, i used them for a short while but changes to HID. according to the THQ website, they will only fit THQ headlight units (all versions). THQ are currently selling these for £65, I'll post them to the UK for £45 or collect from Westhoughton, Bolton for £40.

Hi @Deaky, thanks for your help. no normal light and verified it is in the right way. Yeah bulb holder could be it I will check the contactor if I can clean them or I might need to change the bulb holder.

The other thing I did, which I almost forgot about, was change out the LED 'bulbs' in the (aftermarket) headlights. I bought mine from Vanstyle - they look remarkably similar to THQ V3s, except with less cable hanging out the back, and rather than using an H7 fitting for the dipped headlight...

Thanks for the reply. Have you had any issues with your MOT? The pattern and rainbow effect at the top might be normal for all I know. I'm used to the standard bulbs/lights and this is a massive change.

No they won’t, they’re a different shape and take H7/H11 bulbs, not H7/H15.

Yes, they are fine as they are CE approved halogen.
