Message appeared on the MFD stating AdBlue Range 6000 miles. Don't recall this being there before, at least not all the time. Should it be? Also, assumed it needed topping up so added more and have since read this can cause problems. Should I be concerned?

AdBlue is a trademark for a particular chemical formulation. Its all the same, else it cant legally be called AdBlue.

As far as I'm aware (which admittedly isn't an awful long way!), if the adblue system is mapped out, the van will NOT consume any adblue - it simply forgets that it even exists. I'm told that a delete is supposed to be reversible but IMHO that might be problematic as whatever adblue is left in...
