Hi all,
My T6 2017 is currently in the garage with the dreaded adblue fault. The company has conducted an initial investigation (£120) now they want a further £580 to conduct a OIDS troubleshooting plan! Once the fault is found which could require a new tank I could be looking at £1000s.
A...
Yes another AdBlue potential issue.. anyone had the mileage countdown not countdown after 13000 miles. Not sure if its using any as I have not added any as yet as it still showing 19500 miles in the tank
Having had the AdBlue mapped out, I’m toying with the idea of getting it all replaced if I sell the van later on, or if a check for it gets added to MOTs in the future.
At the time the garage said they had no way of knowing when it last successfully ran, and due to crystallisation, they...
Hi all,
My van (2018 T6, 53k miles) is booked with VW Van Centre on Friday morning for the initial inspection relating to my AdBlue and Engine Mgt Light (EML). I've searched the forum and reading lots of similar experiences so trying to gain as much knowledge and advice before Friday 5th...
...corrected, I have no complaint in that regard.
So, a couple of questions for you experienced T6 owners. The van is Euro6 & has the separate Adblue tank, but despite going through every function on the MFD, I cannot find anything that tells me how much Adblue is left remaining in the system...
I’ve had my T6.1 about 5 weeks, have done about 4-500 miles in it, but in all that time the Adblue range still says 3500 miles.
Could it have been deleted? Any way of telling?
Any V
CDS gurus able to help with my AdBlue system issues on my 2018 Q5? I think I've sussed it, to the adblue pump and it's 'phases' causing the implausible signal:
67589 - Position Sensor for Reductant Pump
P2AD7 00 [00001101] - Implausible Signal...
Hi All,
Can you help? We have a 2022 T6.1 that has gone into limp mode. Diagnostics originally revealed an Adblu sensor/ pump issue which has now need replaced. A reset was done, Adblu registering but now we have a voltage problem affecting the ‘Boost Pressure Sensor’. It should be receiving 5v...
Knowing that I’ve had my share of Adblue issues (including recently, as reported at Post 74 here: Ad-Blue - 650 mile countdown comes and then goes off), a friend of mine sent me a link to a discussion on the California Forum on the subject which also mentioned using adblue additives and I...
Hi.
Just wanted to confirm what the indie has done on my 2019 204 CXEB Kombi - the EGR has been blanked off and coded out and also AdBlue has been coded out. DPF is still in-place. Now I thought that AdBlue was needed for DPF but just want to confirm that DPF can still work without AdBlue?
I've had my 2023 T6.1 150bhp for a couple of months and so far love it. Having never had a diesel with adblue I've got a couple of questions if i may to try and avoid any issues
1. How full should i keep the adblue tank, and am i correct in thinking after a top up to leave ignition on for 30...
Is there an easy way of muting Adblue alarm that kicks in at the 1500 countdown
pings warning every time ignition switches on including visual watning
simple answer is adblue obviously but I am trying to run a little longer until service as I have free adblue top ups
So I let my Adblue go low (won’t do that again!) down to 350 miles. Mainly because I buy it at the pump that was until one week ago a lot cheaper at £1.06 per litre. You have to find a garage that HGV’s use as they have large Adblue tanks on their vehicles. And of course pumping it tells you...
Hi all, I’ve just been told by VW van centre I need a new Adblue pump, my van is 5 years old and has done approx 26,000 miles. Is this a known problem, they’ve quoted nearly £2,000
I am getting sick of adblue. I have 300 miles almost 250 left. Thinking it’s the level sensor being confused as I overfilled. I’m going to ring VW to recalibrate the sensor. Has anybody had this done? If so how much am I looking at?
I was hoping driving it would get it to sort itself out but I’m...
...it as my work vehicle. I do a lot miles in the van, mainly motorway driving and I've put 50k miles on the van since I bought it. I've had put Adblue in the van on several occasions and I generally leave it until I'm able to put 10 litres in, as i buy the 10 litre bottles. I understand now...
...10 litres is 10 quids at B&Q, my son has just had his Caddy serviced (it's his first vehicle and I asked the garage to give it a good look over but I trust him and he doesn't overcharge) and they put 10l in charged at 22 quid plus VAT!
So is this gold standard Adblue or is it all the same stuff?
