It's a feature called comfort opening and closing. Press and hold either the unlock or lock button. But the window pinch protection needs to be set before it operates.... Ie one touch window up or down. Ie, this needs resetting after the battery is disconnected.

A [very] long press of the 'open' button on the key activate the 'comfort opening' function, where both cab windows will open. Similarly, a long press on the 'close' button will activate the 'comfort closing' function. So, yes, it's highly probable that's what you did.
