Hi guys. I have brought an RCD330 radio which Apparantly is a direct fit to my van. On the rear of the radio the pin outs which seem for the speakers are there but no power pins? The harness that was supplied doesn’t fit the radio either and the original plug won’t fit the radio. Am I missing...

I’ve just ordered a RCD330 bud. Seems decent reviews and does everything you require and still looks VW standard. I’m not sure on the sound quality yet but will let you know.

I’m looking for the same. For different reasons. I’m using a Carlinkit dongle to get wireless CarPlay. I want to relocate the usb elsewhere. Called TPS. They couldn’t find anything. Separately, the RCD330 is great. Put one in my mk5 golf a couple years ago. Brilliant value.

hiya...im old rcd330 on mine with adaptor loom... you lose dash info which is a tad annoying... and the usb doesnt work unless you mod... and i need to sort my factory rear camera as it wont work with it as yet, so im very interested in this and the new variants.. let me know any vibes...

...speaker for a kenwood one that says is suitable for van. I had a random head unit originally and swapped for a rcd310 but now have fitted a rcd330 which I love! But to answer your question yes I’ve only swapped the drivers speaker which sounds like just a tweeter and the original works great.

Hi bud. I’m in the same position you were here. Did you need to do any adaptions on the canbus or was it as simple as getting the adapted wiring harness?

...CTSVW015.2, but I am not convinced its the problem. The HU is also brand new, and can see the phone key, so I am not convinced that would be faulty either. Maybe its a coding thing, my MFSW was retrofitted, but installing the original RCD330 everything works again as expected, so who knows.

The sensors still working and beeping will do for me…. that’s what mirrors are for!? I’m sure the positives of this new head unit will far outweigh the negative of loosing the visual/virtual parking aid.

Mine wasn't the original unit supplied with the van, it was an RCD330 imported from China so not covered by the warranty.

Anyone got any ideas how to remove the reversing camera feature via a VCDS? this message comes up after it goes into reverse. Its a RCD360 head unit.

You could go with an rcd330 they're not fantastic but they would be plug and play and around £300 they have Bluetooth, android auto and apple CarPlay but no DAB radio. Alternatively check the Sony XAV-AV3250 out they're great for the money but need a little more money and time for installation...
