Lowering 80mm - Wish I never done it

Yeah, and I think this has been my problem. I could have done with reading a few honest 'maybe this wasn't the bests idea' posts. Hence mine actually, happy to admit this has been a mistake.

For Sale T32 big brake front callipers, carriers, discs and pads

Whoever buys these will have no issues re longevity of paint quality. I had mine fully refurbished / smoothed & painted over 4 years ago from BCS & they still look as good today, as then. Well worth the £ for the bling factor... :D

    Photography

Just putting a few of mine up as I’ve just ventured into a whole section of forum I’ve never been into ^ this was a Moroccan Lad who randomly asked me to take his photo, it’s a bit posey but I always liked it

Lowering 80mm - Wish I never done it

I don’t think many would admit it but it’s fairly obvious if the suspension is effectively negated and the carefully designed running gear geometry butchered. Better to test drive someone else's first and then make the call.

Lowering 80mm - Wish I never done it

At 80mm, will it ever truly drive straight and not pull? Or am I being naive thinking it'll drive normally at this ride height? Ignoring the various things than can cause pull like bushes, damage, tyres etc. Had my Transporter a couple of years. Camper Converted. SoLow NSL dropped half way down...

So what does everyone do for a living?

I’m a keen diver so interested in marine biology too, but have very little knowledge or understanding except what I pick up from the marine biologists in my diving club.

    Automatic braking?

Yes when I got van it’s had a new de badged grill plus abt front bumper All has been fine for 3 months and I know I can manually turn it off every time I get in but bit of a pain on short journeys If I knock the park assist button off will that not do same job ie disabling sensors?

So what does everyone do for a living?

Type of job I’d love to do, but I don’t think my my RYA Level 2 powerboat in the middle of Surrey will get me very far. I’m currently an AAP (what used to be known as an Ambulance Technician) and an apprentice paramedic, uni finishing on Friday and fingers crossed, qualifying fully in November...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

First time we used the Fiamma was at 'Summer' camp 4 years ago, it just rained all the time, and amazingly the canvas took the weight of a barrel load of rain, the rafter pro was the answer!

    Automatic braking?

Yeah - a couple times. Apart from the usual - when reversing into a space that has leaves on a nearby branch - slams brakes on like you've hit something. 1st time - on dual carriageway doing 65mph with a car right up behind me. It slammed the brakes on for 1/10 of a second (looked in the manual...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

They stop the Fiamma filling up with water when it rains, a middle strut between the two outside ones. Makes a very useful washing line too! The Pro one has a slight radius, better than the slightly cheaper straight one apparently!
