Thank you @Dellmassive . I'm happy to cut the plug off. My aim is to switch to lithium. I'm just trying to sort how to get a DC - DC chsrger in using my split charge wiring, which is doable given the 16mm2 cable, but again, housing issues.
Hi all,
I have recently installed a LB which runs all the electrics in the van complete with a split charging system (all working as expected)
When on site I would like to utilise the EHU to provide power for the LB and appliances. So I have purchased the IP65 charger unit ( link below)...
Width is the same as diameter.
Mine did originally have a factory leisure battery with split charger installed, so maybe my cable feed was larger.
Go by measurement to confirm what you actually have.
Hi, need a bit of help, I'm wanting to know if 5 X112 SPEEDLINE SPLIT RIMS ALLOY WHEELS 4F0601025L 8.5J ET48 57.1mm centre bore will fit a T6.1 2020?
any help would be appreciated.
A couple of specialist converters do a split tailgate for the Crafter, but they are their own bespoke units. I think Autotrail do one. I've never seen a factory tailgate.
I've looked again, the largest cable in that bundle is 10mm2. My 25mm2 cable that I used for my DC-DC originated from the OEM split charge relay and not this bundle, which I also had.
Got mine fixed today thanks to my VAG professor. He split my old battery to get a good luck at it. I believe he is looking into to setting up an exchange system. Or repair & return type of situation.
This won't be the cause of you SB issues, but the combination of a split charger and a smart alternator is not ideal. Ideally, you need DC-DC charger rather than a split charger.
...driving to Stratford at the weekend and I’ve been under the bonnet with the torch and camera looking for an indication that there was an induction/pressure hose or vacuum leak.
Anyway, intercooler split.
So yes, boost leak, overboost fault, no fault codes, constant regen and boost leak...
