I didn’t say it was bud as asked if I could use this supply for my split charger but should have said DC to DC charger to be clearer. (Original post updated to reflect DC to DC charger)
That's the factory leisure setup.
With the OEM split charge relay, and fuse.
That's what I had.....I removed the relay and fitted a DC DC. Charger.
Replaced the fuse and battery.

Return leg - split mid way with a stop at friends.

Have a Search on EGR pipe, the split pipe that you have has been superceded with a better design.
If you have the correct tools and ability there is no reason why you can’t renew it yourself.
They're sold in complete sets and no retailer will put themselves out of pocket splitting a set.
Contact the manufacturer in Germany, buy an entire set, see if any local suspension specialists can overhaul the unit, or revert to stock are your options.

Only asking as I didn’t know if the split charge system would affect the Eco 800 from charging correctly and May of had to be tacken from main van battery

I started my VW camper journey in 1977 (yes I am an old git) with a 1966 split screen. My VW camper journey went like this.
3 x split screens
1 x bay window
1x T25
3 x T4
Then went on to bigger stuff American and A class...
There is an existed link which comes from the fuse box underneath the battery that goes into the seat base. The split charge relays located in the seat base. So you can take your feed for your Orion excess from that point and just remove the factory split charge relay unit.

I’m replacing my dumb relay which was dead in my 2016 T6 for a Nemo DX1230, as sold by split charge. It’s a smart unit suited to a smart alternator and so far the main wiring has gone smoothly.
What I am stuck on are two smaller wires hardwired into the unit, one for ignition...
Can anyone tell me whether the screw on the right of the empty hole, is the screw that has been added for extra support.?
The reason being, that I already have that screw in place on my 2023 T6.1. 4 Motion...Cheers
