most, if not all of the VW GP 17” wheels on marketplace come with 215/60/R17 tyres on them!
So it’s ok is it to fit 235/65/R17 FalkenWIldpeak Tyres on these rims without issues?
I have 2020 T6.1 Kombi T32
If anyone has done this would really like to see some photos and hear your thoughts.
Hi all
I've just ordered some Navis Gelida 17's for my T6.1 4motion and am probably going to put some FalkenWildpeaks on.
Please can someone advise which tyre size to go with.
I'm thinking 235/65/17 ?
So I have driven on these in the dry and wet, and I like to make progress. And been really happy with them. But now I have used them in the snow and yet again found them impressive. I just thought I would put that out there for anyone considering them.
As you were 😀
...these on soon so seeing if anyone wants them.
Bought brand new in Nov last year. 8.5x18in Supermetal Cell in Matt bronze. Tyres are FalkenWildpeak 235/55/18
Less than 1000miles use so next to no wear.
Very impressed with grip levels in wintry conditions.
Based near Aberdeen, ideally want...
It's on adjustable Solow NSL's, 80mm front, 75mm rear currently, so am expecting to have to lift it quite a bit!
I've seen most go with FalkenWildpeaks, and good to hear the ride is better! What did you have before?
I can give some feedback on the Falken tyres I have on my T32 t6 ,215/60 17s Falken Linam van01 s which are quiet and have excellent wet grip. Wearing well after 15,000 miles all with a bit over 7mm tread depth and nice even wear. Cheaper than the conti oem tyres. On the van from April to...
It does depend on wheel type and tyre size. Also a suspension drop helps. Mine below are 235/65/17 with falkenwildpeak tyres and a 50mm drop. But no spacers added.
Seems a lot of people are going for the same size but FalkenWildpeaks. 15% off Black Friday deal with Black Circles on Michelin brings these tyres to a similar fitted price as the Falkens, so I think I`m going for the Michelin.
Obviously opinions are unique (and of course its your van) however IMHO looks better with the offroad tyres. I run Falkenwildpeaks all year around with no issues.
