    Loc8 Table Carpeting

Has anyone successfully covered the Loc8 Table case with 4-way stretch carpet? If so could you post some photos of you work? One concern I have is that the thickness of the carpet might push it outwards and cause the table to rub on the wheel arch. Thanks

Sold 6.1 California Table and Door Card

I’ve attached part numbers for table/door card and prices from VW. I bought it as used bundle with my California bed and tailgate chairs/trims. Loc8 is much cheaper option but have seen couple posts that it can expand in hot weather and rub wheel arch paintwork when opening slider. Please...

Loc8 door table rubbing 10J rear wheel

It hits your wheel arch? Shouldn’t do that. Your door setting might be worn. Mine is plenty from arch. It's the tyre my rubs as it sticks slightly outside of arch. I have slight play in the end of door. I just have to mindful when I park up. I'm reluctant to adjust door as I haven't done it...

    Swamper Suspension suggestions for 245/65/17

I am not sure which table it is, I didn’t fit it. It does not rub on the wheel arch covers. But it does touch the tyre, I got mud on the table this weekend, from the tyre! I do have spacers on the rear wheels.

Wheel arches - to be or not to be

Agree, Just a heads up for anyone thinking of fitting these, , You won’t be able to fit a Loc8 table in the sliding door with the arch protectors fitted, I drove over to the Loc8 HQ to see if the table will fit ok, it doesn’t, it will rub slightly..

    Swamper Suspension suggestions for 245/65/17

Hi Chris Is this the Loc8 table you have, does this rub on the rear exterior wheel arch cover when door is open? I’m trying to find out, as I have those arch covers fitted and was hoping to fit a Loc8 table to door Cheers

Loc8 door table rubbing 10J rear wheel

Yeah it's catching on the bottom edge/lip that the table sits in and rubs the wheel where the spokes sit proud of the outer rim. I'm currently at standard ride height and did wonder if it was lower (I have some coilovers to put on) then would it clear the wheel slightly differently because the...

Help to sort this on my rear wheel arch...

Hi there, I’ve had a problem where the door card holding a loc8 table had caused the table to rub against my rear wheel arch causing some damage to the paint (one of the clips holding the door card had come loose letting the card come away from the door just enough to foul the arch). Any...

Help to sort this on my rear wheel arch...

Plenty of HD self adhesive Velcro strips to back up the door card clip issue. It’s a common problem as any extra weight detaches the clips when the door is slammed. Search sliding door adjustment on the Forum, it is possible to get some extra clearance. As for the paint there is no magic solution.

Help to sort this on my rear wheel arch...

Just joined, so a bit after the fact, but thought I'd post anyway. I had exactly the same and contacted Neil at iCampers, who was really helpful (I've posted full response below, but my issue turned out to be the trim clips the converter had used as they weren't OEM. I ordered OEM clips, they...

I've had the same issue with my carpeted loc8. Spent months fettling it, trying different clips, using Rivnuts etc etc and FINALLY solved it by a super simple thing.... I just added 3mm ply spacers to the back side of the table recess so that the tabletop is set back further when its in the door...

The problem I have with mine being lined is if I park the van on an angle drivers side down a bit when I lock the slider open the Loc8 table rubs on the wheel arch ! Its rubbed some of the paint off and was ages before I noticed what was happening and its left an autoglym line on the surface of...
