Pleased it worked out for you mate. I know a lot more about the dpf now and follow similar routine to you plus using VAGdpf just to make sure it all completes when it should. . Just a shame I had to learn the hard way

I counted my fuel receipts and 4,000kms is correct. It did a burn (DPF) light came on just after the boost pipe split.

Looking for a bit of advice… my T6 150PS is constantly doing regens, 3-4 times per tank it seems. With some needing to be forced due to engine light and glow plug light coming on. (Fault code 23967)

You can pay a one-off charge for the app, but use Carista for free as the Bluetooth connection.
As MMI says, it may cause the DPF to not do regens, and if that is the case depending on how many miles you will do between now and June, I probably wouldn't leave it that long.

...going on since I mapped it and mapped out the egr. Lately the revs are now hunting when regenerating when I increase the revs and being stationary. I plan to take the dpf off soon soak it in dpf cleaner and jet wash it out in the opposite direction and see if it makes a difference on regen...
I have done 5k miles, I believe the matrix has been removed and all mapped out do you think the map could have failed?
Is the throttle valve position correct or is that something that could be caused by this?

I've been reading the log on Carista, only gives soot levels.
How would you go about clearing ash residue? Premium fuels etc or DPF off and full flush?
